Originating from England and having travelled throughout Canada, Linden Carroll currently resides in beautiful British Columbia. Spending part of the year in the Cascade Mountain area of Northern Washington, USA, she enjoys walking with her northern canine friend and howling to the moon with the coyotes around the campfire.
Her work epitomises the spirit and soul of the British people through two wars who, while impoverished, still retained their personal strength, comradery and dignity while dealing with atrocities inflicted upon them. It is her hope that the writing of this novel will serve in some small way to reinforce the importance of remembering those stalwart souls.
