During the Harvest Festival in the village of Butterfield, Pomegranate and Peachy meet and become fast friends. They decide to see the world together, having adventures at the seaside and at the funfair, before returning to Butterfield for an important event.

Ray Coombes is a retired bank manager and self-employed gardener. He plays acoustic guitar and sings locally, writing a lot of his own material. He enjoys theatre, live music, eating out, holidays and sports, especially tennis and football.
