In a bustling but bleak city, life is passing by all around. People exist and lives shuffle along, but Leona is trapped in the same cycle of loneliness, wasting away. Her children don't appreciate her, her husband barely acknowledges her existence, and she feels like she isn't in the room anymore.

Thomas Roche has travelled extensively through work, having called countries as varied as Australia, Saint Lucia and Azerbaijan his home. He has enjoyed careers in the construction industry, delivering major sports events and now works in the charity sector.

His writing and subject matter are equally varied, ranging from science fiction novels to musically inspired short stories. Pushed is his first published work.
