Nathaniel G. Sands gets covered in Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News

Nathaniel with his daughter and his book

The first book of young author, Nathaniel G. Sands, ‘The Event Horizon’, makes a mark and gets a praising article on Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. The book is a post-apocalyptic satire with a blend of poetry.

According to Nathaniel, he originally wrote this novel to pass on his thoughts and ideas to his daughter about the fragility and preciousness of life. He came up with the story in his dreams which was later molded accordingly to the present times of his.

His extensive research in philosophy, religion, political science and literature had a lot to do with this tale. The book encloses entangling of events and puzzling incidents. It’s not an ordinary fiction story, rather, has the ability to take you to another world.

‘The Event Horizon’ tells the story of a floating vessel holding what remains of a higher humanity. Achilles belongs to a lower class and is going through a severe mental suffering. He is a desperate and eager leader who awaits change. The story unfolds to be quite an unexpected one.

All of a sudden, Alexander, the elected emperor, calls his people. This leaves Achilles to lead only the incompetent remainder of humanity. He is always pushing the line of survival and sanity.
