Marc O'Brien will deliver a talk to school students at Duane D. Keller Middle School

Author of ‘The Final Fence: Sophomores In The Saddle’, Marc O'Brien is invited to deliver a talk in school. The Clark County School District is committed to reducing the number of students dropping out of school. PAYBAC emphasizes the importance of education and the development of job-keeping skills needed to succeed. This objective is achieved with the help of volunteers such as Marc O’Brien who are willing to make classroom visitations and talk to the students about the importance of education. ‘The Final Fence: Sophomores In The Saddle’ is a story of five sophomore students and passion for horses. It questions the subjectivity or objectivity of disability and strengths of labels awarded by the society. The message is that journey of race and things we learn are more important than the winning itself or the winning prize. It can serve as an important tool to instil respect in upcoming generations and to teach them that living is more important than winning. Marc O’Brien had his University degree in Communication Arts and decided to make use of his learnings in a non-conventional way. He has formerly printed his other work and has an impressive portfolio of fictional work.

Feiko Bouman to visit Stanton Library for a talk and Book Signing

A talk and book signing event is being hosted by a local library in honor of ‘Urban Peasant’. Feiko Bouman is requested to deliver a talk and sign copies of his book for readers at Stanton Library, (234 Miller Street, North Sydney, New South Wales, 2060, Australia). His designs overtook the market and he published some books about his architectural work. Author had an interesting childhood as a migrant child and his education moved in an unorthodox fashion. He had an interesting university life and some adventures during the ‘sixties’. His career took off quickly and he has a few published books on architecture to his credits.
