Michoel Levy will be attending a Book Signing event at WHSmith

The brilliant storyteller Michoel Levy will be at WHSmith to sign the copies of his wonderful book ‘Thunder Rose’. It is an excellent opportunity to meet the reviver of the ancient art of storytelling in person and get your signed copy. ‘Thunder Rose’ is a bittersweet story of revenge and love that changes the world of young princess Elzbet. After King along with his sons is poisoned by unknown enemy, struggling through his last breaths King calls upon his daughter and entrust her with the promise to take charge after him and hunt the murderers and kill them. The young and charming yet lonely Queen Elzbet is now in charge of a great responsibility of governing the kingdom and hunting the culprits responsible for the death of her family. Michoel Levy is a former barrister who turned down his professional life and travelled across Europe, living on roads, seeking out and reviving the ancient art of storytelling on bridges, in parks and in town squares.

Rita Burgess, the Author of ‘Grandma's Water Tower Tales’ will be attending a Book Reading Event at a School

In collaboration with Mundesley School, Rita Burgess will be reading sections of her book for the students.  She will talk about her children’s book ‘Grandma's Water Tower Tales’. The event is aimed to encourage the reading habit in the young generation. Grandma’s Water Tower Tales is an interesting book with colourful illustrations. The main character of the book is Watty The Water Tower who makes new friends by being helpful towards others. The book is written in simple words with a great message of kindness and helping others. Rita Burgees is married to Bill and lives in a Norfolk seaside village with their cat Samma. She is enjoying her retirement life, however, she works part-time as Lay Minister in the Church of England. She has a keen interest in gardening, family history, watching the sea and writing poetry.

Ponchos is an adorable factory-made panda, who magically comes to life and ends up in a zoo. There he is shocked to discover that a dangerous gang is planning to kidnap a baby panda on loan from China. How can he stop their evil plan? Alexandra is married to Tim and lives with him in Oxfordshire. She finds her solace, love and pride in her family having 3 grown-up children and 5 grandchildren. Alexandra has served in the NHS for 40 years, predominantly in Children and Young Peoples Services. She spent her childhood in Pakistan and Africa before moving to England.

Book Signing and Talk by Linden Carroll, the Author of ‘Olive’

Chapters in Pinetree Village is hosting a book signing event for Linden Carroll, where she will sign the copies of her darling book ‘Olive’ and deliver a talk about her book and strengths of Women. She will also highlight her perspective on effects of War on survivors. ‘Olive’ is a historical fiction written in the time spans from the end of the 19th century through WW-II. The protagonist, Olive, was shunned by her family at birth but the clever lady learned to survive taking most advantage out of opportunities and to avail whatever offer life brought her. But all this came at a price and burden fell on the children to bear the cost. Linden Carroll is a British author who has travelled around the USA and Canada. She currently lives in British Columbia and enjoys taking walks with her fur buddy and campfires. She has a keen interest in historical wars British people were exposed to.
