Author of ‘The Toy Hunters’ will be attending a book signing event at WHSmith, Manchester. The Author will be signing his first book and promoting the upcoming book from the sequel, pre-release. Part two is titled as ‘The Toy Hunters Returns – Part Two’. The book is about the ‘The Toy Soldier', who has recently learned about the freedom, roles of other toys and the feared enemy, The Toy Hunters. John, the toy soldier, takes on leadership and must devise a plan of defence. Can he protect other fellow toys from the threat of the enemy or they would have to live in fear forever? Peter David was born in Rusholme Close, Manchester. He grew up with four brothers. He served an apprenticeship as a plumber, which led him to work in the North Sea and later in London, Kent, South Wales, and Yorkshire. He worked for multiple companies handling instrumentation in the heavy construction industry.

Peter Morgan who has worked extensively with young people, will be doing a book signing for the audience at WH Smith, Manchester. Peter Morgan has several professional qualifications in health, social care sector and youth work. He has served in the child care system for a local authority, private and for a charity. Peter is dedicated to making a difference in youth which is vulnerable to evils of modern society, and now is doing so through his writing.
Author of three great books, Sharon Plant will be attending a book signing event hosted by Barnstaple Library. A moving tale of love, poverty, alcoholism and kindness that can transport you in time. ‘The Fisherwoman’ is a tale of a young girl from 1950s who fells pregnant after a rape and suffers prejudice in her small town until she is murdered. ‘The Last Supper’ is the fateful story of a farmer plucked from his village life by an artist to be implanted in the very different city life, where his fortunes boom but so does his troubles. The authors of these brilliant books, Sharon Plant is a very talented writer and a painter with over 30 years of experience in arts. She has accomplished a lot during her professional life and established London's innovative gallery, Aspects. She was a founding member of the New Designers Exhibition; Festival Coordinator for the London Design Festival and Director of ‘The Sorrell Foundation’. Sharon has lectured at five of the University of Arts London colleges and organized exhibitions for the Royal College of Art.

Blue Stockings Bookstore will be hosting a book signing event for historical fiction book ‘Ghost of the Nightingale’. Patrick J Gorman and Diana Gorman will be signing the copies of their book for the attendants of the event. After a great response from the previous book signing at Atria Living Centre, this event is also looking promising. ‘Ghost of the Nightingale’ is the story of unfinished business and a life cut short too early. Authors have skilfully brought to life the horrific historical facts of holocaust and major violations of human rights during the war. Patrick is a New York Certified Public Accountant and a licensed stockbroker. Diana is a Speech/Language Pathologist.
The school has invited the author John Parson to address children in the assembly and deliver a talk to them. The author will also engage the students in a question and answer session.
