Omotayo D. Alabi
Omotayo D. Alabi has over twenty years of experience working in the humanitarian sector. He has worked in management and advisory capacity on food security, agriculture and rural development, farm management, green and resilience economy, and income, market, and digital economy. He has also actively worked addressing environmental, conservation, and sustainability issues in refugee and returnee camps in many countries including Sierra Leone, Liberia, Sudan, Nigeria, and South Sudan. He has experience either working or consulting for the European Union, UNFAO, UNDP, UNCDF, Concern Worldwide, Catholic Relief Services, Plan International, Welthungerhilfe, Environmental Foundation for Africa and a host of other NGOs.
He is the MD of Agcrest Development Centre. Mr Alabi worked with Agrer Belgium as a Technical Adviser on Agronomist Extension for the Technical Assistance for Increased Agriculture Production of Smallholders in South Sudan at the EU Delegation South Sudan. He did undergraduate studies in Agriculture Extension and Management at the Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, holds a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Development from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom; a Certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom; and a Master of Science in Programme and Project Management from the University of Chester, United Kingdom.
