Ann (nee Bowles) was born into a loving family at Flaggrass Hill Farm, March, Cambridgeshire on 28th April 1941.
Ann joined the WRAF in 1959, ending her service with a two-year posting to Singapore and married Peter, a career RAF serviceman in 1963. Two children Mark and Julie and two wonderful grandsons Ben and Max continue to bring them both much joy.
Ann is proud to write and preserve her father Bill “Pop” Bowles’ memories of life in the Fens in 1930s until his death in 2001. Pop was a unique character, a true Fenland gentleman who cared about all things nature.
