Julie Cunningham
Born in New Zealand, Julie Cunningham travelled to Australia and lived in Queensland for many years where she designed and manufactured women’s shoes. During these years, her baby daughter was born, and she discovered the joys of motherhood.
After moving to the Kingdom of Tonga for two years, she joined her husband in managing a fishing lodge in Panama. After almost 5 years there, she and her small family moved to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. A few years later they moved back to Julie’s place of birth and now reside in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
She began her writing career in 2004 after graduating from The Writing School. Soon she became a grandmother and is often known as Super-Granny.
After writing several books and failing to be published, she finally found a publisher who believes in her talent, and this is her first published work, with many more to come. She is driven by the belief that the meaning of success is going from failure to failure without the loss of enthusiasm.
