David Freeman grew up in Plymouth, and spent much time in Cornwall. He is married to Rosie, and has three grown-up children and 11 grandchildren. He enjoys writing stories for them. He was a teacher and has travelled widely, making many friends and helping the disadvantaged by setting up schools and training teachers. He has authored several books on education.
