David Jessop was born in Mansfield, England and studied Modern History at Queen Mary College, University of London. He also has a doctorate in History from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. Most of his life was spent in Finance and Charity work in the UK and North America. The Vicar of Abchurch is his first novel.
