David took up writing late in life having spent 40 years as a Chartered Architect mainly in London and won four design awards. After retiring from architecture, he became the Editor of a monthly golf publication entitled The Gold Club Secretary for nine years. It was during this period that his writing became more than a hobby. This is the seventh book he has written. His sixth book, England’s Finest Links, was shortlisted for the sports book of the year in 2012; it came third in its class.
