Dennis Humphreys

Dennis Humphreys, now retired, lives in a Victorian house with a large garden in South Devon. In his professional career, he was a lawyer specialising in planning law. He has always been an active musician, playing keyboards and the flute. He has a wide range of interests, including Astronomy, English and French literature and history.


He has always been fascinated by the age of King Arthur, the time of the Anglo-Saxon invasions of Britain and of the migration of Britons to Brittany. Dennis has made a detailed study of the early period of Christianity, and of the development and status of the Church in the later Roman Empire.
