Born in Luton, Bedfordshire, Christopher Lander attended secondary modern school in Dunstable. He started working at age of sixteen in the local manufacturing industry of the time.
Never married, Christopher enjoyed socialising in clubs and pubs. In his later years, he relocated to the Isle of Wight, where he turned to writing, studying basic mathematics, and learning computers. Occasionally stiff, he enjoyed a tipple.
