Belinda’s work is inspired by her love for both children and animals. She is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion in an ideal world where everyone can thrive and be their best. Belinda cares deeply about the environment, social challenges and sustainability; this also influences her writing.
Belinda has a background in paediatric occupational therapy and corporate human resources and communications. Belinda’s hobbies have included reading and writing. She felt compelled to pursue her passion when she realised she was enjoying picture books more than her children!
Belinda lives in Sydney with her husband Brendan, their children Thomas and Isobel and their smart and cute dog Piper, the golden Labradoodle. Belinda has been trained at the Australian Writers’ Centre and is a member of the Children’s Book Council of Australia. NSW Branch.
