Since leaving drama school, Jane has pursued two careers: one as a director of theatre and opera, the other as a writer. After 40 years in the theatre, for the last ten, she has concentrated on writing fiction. Her seventh novel was published in 2022. Jane has four children, ten grandchildren and now lives in Putney, London.
