As an author, Ruth Mollins has a unique perspective, as a retired primary school teacher trained in Scotland but practised in England, a wife, a mother of three and a grandmother of two. Who has seen the power that a book can hold within her twenty-five years of teaching. Hundreds of children have heard stories, researched facts, found a hobby, found a lifelong interest, escaped reality or learned more about the world they live in through a love of reading.
