Neil Thomas
After being accepted back into the services, the author held a number of different posts. Years later, he was recognised by the queen for, quote: “17 years outstanding military service, as a member of the forces, in the service of Her Majesty the Queen and the country.”
After working for a prominent private security company in surveillance, then technical advisor and whilst still a sergeant within the reserve forces, he went on to become an extremely successful film and TV stunt man.
After winning a Hollywood World Stunt Award in 2013 for his in-flight plane-to-plane hijack jump on the Batman film, Dark Knight Rising, he has now become a very well-respected stunt coordinator and action unit director.
Along with his many skills, he is an accomplished amateur racing driver, ski and skydive instructor and has represented his country in extreme sports.
When not working on a movie or following his passion as an amateur racing driver, he lives between his homes in the UK and the Spanish Canary Islands, where he continues to write.
