Jim O’Brien

Jim O’Brien was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, a textile city spawned during the American Industrial Revolution. He studied for and attained a bachelor’s degree from Providence College in the neighboring New England state of Rhode Island. After graduation, he began a forty-year career in the retail industry. Jim held multiple positions, from entry level to regional director of sales and operations, where his responsibilities necessitated travel throughout much of the United States. Jim has retired from the hectic schedule that his chosen profession demanded. Instead, he spends his time using his vast expertise in the retail world to backdrop his crime novels. Also, he plays as much golf as possible with family and good friends.
