I have lived in and around Ipswich all my life. I have played conkers here, fallen into a river and got covered in mud here, and spent hours playing football at our local parks, sometimes about twenty a side. Now, I work as a gardener, a job I like. I love spending time outside, and quite often take some of my grandchildren for long walks to a river not far from where I live and now, we all go home covered in mud. I help look after the trees in Ipswich as a tree warden. I help to plant trees, some big and some small. I love nature and wildlife. in my garden, I have a large number of bird feeders, a bird box, and a pond, we have frogs, as well as fish and newts.

Quite a few years ago I wrote a book, called The Fox at Christmas. I wrote it for my sons after a fox visited our garden one Christmas. I like to draw and paint as well as write. I like sports, football, cycling, cricket as well as rugby. I play walking football twice a week.
