Nigel Power
Nigel Power was born a year before the outbreak of WW2, within 20 miles of central London. He studied mathematics and music at university before following a career in education based in the West Midlands. Retiring in 2005, he relocated to a village in Dorset, where he continues to play the organ in the village church. In March 2020, his wife, for whom he had been her full-time carer for nearly ten years, was admitted to a care home. When the national Covid lockdown began eight days later, Nigel began writing short stories. This book contains the second collection of his stories to be published.
