Pauline Salhi

Pauline Salhi is a mother of five children and grandmother of three. She obtained a BA in Social Policy from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK as a mature student at the age of 53. Prior to studying at the University, Pauline gained a BTEC in early years’ education in Birmingham. Her jobs include care assistant for the elderly, exam invigilator in Birmingham University and classroom assistant at King’s Norton Boys’ school in Birmingham and lunchtime supervisor for schoolchildren in Kent. Pauline at the age of 12 started helping to look after her nieces, nephews and younger sisters. Pauline has volunteered in many different establishments including schools, Red Cross shops, and flower arranging for the St Alphege Church in London.
