Debra Steven

Throughout Debra’s various careers, from working within the legal profession to childminding, children’s books have always been so important to her. After long bouts of illness, writing became her escape and her comfort. Many characters were created and stories written whilst in hospital. She is a grandmother and enjoys gifting the ‘healing hug’ that books can give. Debra believes that many children throughout their lives need to escape the realities of life. Stories can help them reach a magical world. She sees The Listening Teepee as a haven of comfort and calm. Debra can now share her healing hugs to children worldwide.
