1. What inspired you to become a writer?
I wanted to inspire others the way the novels I read growing up inspired me. I wanted to create new possibilities for those who felt as if they had none. To create a life full off love and adventure, were possibilities are endless. To save a life, like reading saved mine.
2. Could you summarise your book in one sentence?
Nothing short of an epic love story.
3. Who is your favourite character within the book?
My favourite character is Nash because he brings lightness to the book through his fun-loving personality.
4. You mentioned your book will be part of a sequel, do you have a spoiler for the second book?
It’s darker, and everything has changed for Jethro. Book two is unpredictable, and there are a lot of surprises starting from the very first page.
5. Describe your book ‘fate’ using three words…
Action-packed. Romantic. Exciting.
6. Are you on social media and can your readers interact with you?
Yes, I am on Facebook, “Kayla J. Ford Author” and I would love to talk to my readers. I am also on Twitter @Kayla_J_Ford. I also have my hashtag #FATENOVEL
7. When writing a series how do you keep things fresh, for both your reader and also yourself?
I like to introduce new characters, change the settings and throw in lots of surprises that aren’t predictable. I like to think outside of the box while still keeping some of the beloved characters.
