One of the best ways to celebrate Paperback Book Day is to gift someone a book. No matter if your friend is an avid reader or someone you're trying to encourage, a book is always a great gift. Many claim libraries are a dying breed, but entering and borrowing a book from them will ensure that libraries will be open forever. What's the benefit? You can get free books to read! You can also request the book you want to read and be sure you don't need to pay to read your most-loved books.

Everybody knows that going to Barnes and Noble or Waterstones is an experience like none other. There's always plenty to choose from, and the feeling of being in the company of people who love books is always an enjoyable one.

If you purchase books from an independent bookshop, you'll be content with the knowledge that you're helping small-scale business. Independent bookstores usually have unique books, for instance, the work of indie authors, which you cannot purchase elsewhere. There's a chance that you'll discover something no one has seen before!

Read an Entire Book in One Go

Paperback Book Day is the ideal time to take a break from your calendar and relax with a good read. The pressure of life can take hold of you, and the perfect spot to unwind is the pages of a great book. Relax, pour yourself an excellent cup of coffee, open a new book, and keep going through the book until you've reached the last page.

Although you may not be aware of it, all of your favourite authors depend on reviews to convince others to buy their books when they hit the market.
