Susan Corrigan is a retired nurse, mother and grandmother. She lives on the south east coast of England with her partner, Brian. Susan has always enjoyed writing short stories and poems and verse for her children and grandchildren. Since retirement, she has concentrated on her writing and has collaborated with her partner on this story, which was inspired by Brian’s experience with his children when he owned an allotment. Susan is now in the process of a second book in the series: a woodland adventure involving the same children, which is also magical and exciting.
