This was a slow burn mystery and I found myself struggling to follow what has happened at the beginning but after the first death, I was very intrigued. While reading you are following the perspective of three staff nurses and this was something I have never experienced and know so little about but Bevin told this mystery with ease twisting and turning around this living home and giving you terminology that was necessary for the story but not so overwhelming I couldn’t keep up with the drugs and prescriptions. While I was able to discover what was going on and who was our villain I do think this would be a perfect book for someone getting into the crime thriller genre.

Ted and Fiona put their aunt Ness into GoodRest's home, a care home for the elderly. The place is huge and grand. But strange events have occurred in the place. Many of the items of the residents go missing as well as four sudden deaths have been reported. Initially thought to be natural deaths, but workers Moira, Sally and Matt, believe that there is more to it than that. They take on the investigation by themselves to find the murderers. The plot is interesting but the story seemed dragged. The investigation seemed logical. But the climax was boring. Overall, it is a good read.
