Sarah is a teenager wrapped up in a world of her own. No friends, just her father who never speaks, her only solace is her horse Star; together, they tried to stay strong within her world. Lonely and desperate for something or someone to help change Sarah’s life.

The author was born in Wyoming in the city of Plymouth along with six brothers and two sisters. He was married for 33 years to his dear departed wife Heather, who gave him three children: Zilah, Tara and Kyle. Between them, they have given him six grandchildren. Anthony studied at St Peter’s school before taking many jobs, from window cleaning to security, and finished work after a 22-year spell managing at a Currys superstore in Plymouth. He enjoys travel, theatre and the grandchildren, also an avid fan of Disney after his 28th visit. Anthony is now building a career out of writing for children after receiving his diploma from the ICL in Connecticut.

I bought this book for my 10 year old daughter, because she liked the title and illustration on the front cover. She loved it! and took it to schoool to show her friends. She said it was a really sad story, with a nice ending. I read the book myself and found it very poignant. A lovely story and would highly recommend. My daughter is hoping there will be a follow on.

It is a very lovely story but maybe there could have been a little more detail about the characters, however I really liked the writing style, it was as though I was reading her diary. Really great read with incredible drawings. Love it.

I am 12 years old and I love horses, which made me interested in the cover. I wondered if it might be to young for me. It wasn't, I loved the story. Would be goodEven for grownups. I really hope Sarah gets some friends, as well as her lovely horse star.

My son and my adolescent daughter thoughrly enjoyed this story as it touches on many true to life advents but breaks it down to all age groups who can relate and appreciate the true stages of life good or bad. Me as a parent also learnt a lot on how to get through things and help my children go through what they are going through would like to say a massive thank you to the author who has really changed are options and thoughts for the good thank you.
