Peter Dunne has two grown up children for whom he wrote poems when they were young. Ruth Mulvany told him how she had comforted her daughter, Ella, after the death of her friend and Ella’s “Uncle” Chris, and together Peter and Ruth crafted this story, with invaluable editorial assistance from Ella.
