Ben and Jo live in the leafy West Berkshire town of Thatcham with their daughter, Isabella, who was born in September 2017. They met in 2012 and were married in 2015. Ben works as a primary school teacher but was previously working in television, on stage and even as a body double for Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe. Jo is a teacher of the deaf and prior to this was a secondary school English teacher for many years.

Nowadays life is much simpler and they enjoy spending as much time as possible with Isabella. This includes reading lots of stories; fortunately, they have an abundance of books. Ben enjoys running, gardening and being on the committee of a local football club, whereas Jo is a keen musician and is actively involved in arts and crafts.
