Andrew Conlon is an author from Perth, Western Australia. He is a proud father of two young girls who inspired him to write his first book. Constantly writing, Andrew has submitted several short stories to national and international competitions.
After having a catastrophic accident in the goldfields of Western Australia. He was airlifted by the dedicated team of the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Royal Perth Hospital. Wanting to “Give back”, Andrew is dedicating proceeds from his first book (Dwayne’s First Flight) to the RFDS.
Nominated for Australian of the Year 2019 and nominated for the 2019 Citizen of the Year Award, Andrew is a dedicated member of his community and a proud Australian.

Bosko Jokich lives in Perth, Western Australia. Born in a country town surrounded by beautiful hills, “Bushy” was a shearer for more than 20 years before becoming a successful businessman and is now working as a machine operator. He is a dida to three grandchildren – the inspiration behind this book.

    This story of Dwayne the RFDS plane heading out on his first rescue flight is a lovely introduction for children to the remote Australian health service that is the Royal Flying Doctor Service. With some of the sales proceeds going directly to the RFDS, what could be a better buy?
