'As a fairly quiet person, I find it easier to express myself through poetry. My poetry is generally about life events and God as a huge part in my life, as I turned to him many times. I am 55 years old. I have been married and am now divorced. I worked in catering all of my life and have done volunteer work. You could say I've worked all over the place and back to base. God plays a big part in my life. It's easier to express myself through poetry than it is to speak. Whatever I have written is a true expression of everyday living.
