  I loved its dark humour which pokes fun at fashion, consumerism and the people who pull the strings. Have a read yourself and see if Bill reminds you of anyone! The writing is littered with fashion easter eggs which add another level of fun for people with knowledge of fashion and design. Can’t wait for another one in the series.

  This book is very funny and took me into a whole new world which I knew nothing about. Lots of twists, turns and I loved the Jewish grandmother. Leaves the reader curious for more. Are fashion schools really that outrageous!?? Looking forward to the sequel.

  An absolute hoot! Brilliant trying to guess who she means in her characters. The whole launching off into a cerebral discussion of fashion theory, at the most inappropriate moments, was hilarious! I laughed out loud several times! You do have to be a bit of a fashionista to get the references but I loved it.

  Loved this book. Henry Cornes knows his fashion, cultural history and how to keep the reader gripped to the ‘hem’ of this truly original standout book. Humorous, satirical with outrageous twists and turns. Read...and be wowed.

  Just started reading this book by Henry Cornes and am already enchanted.
  The story line is very interesting and the humour is most engaging.
  This book is written in such a clever way, that there are several depth that it can be read in.
  Have already laughed and cried, had my mind opened and my intellect improved.
  It's not a run of the mill book and I'm most impressed by this new author's clarity of story telling, exceptional use of words, his characters and their story lines.
  I will read the book over again when finished and can't wait for a sequel Henry please.
  Do "stitch together" the next sequence in this fascinating world of fashion.
  Thank you for the best read in a very long time.

  Great book. Read it in one sitting. Would recommend to anyone who likes a whodunnit with a bit of dark humour
