• Splashes Into Books

  This is a brilliant, fun read, Just what children need When facing the first day of school And trying to stay being cool! It shares Louise's first day What she has to do and say, Getting ready for the start And for her to take part. It has colourful illustrations to share And talk about with those for whom you care. A great way to talk through fears And a hilarious twist - so no more tears! A great way to get youngsters ready for the new year To discuss their hopes and what they fear. A fresh start brought to life in this book At which I highly recommend you do more than look!

  Read this to my niece who gets nervous for the new school year every year. She loved the message that everyone gets nervous and reading it has definitely made her more excited for the next year. Definitely think we will be rereading it in August when the nerves start again! I would definitely recommend this to parents or anyone with a young child who gets a bit anxious before a scary new year!
