Forever

He has become one of the biggest stars on the planet, and she must meet him – well, not just meet him, but somehow get into his hotel room and into his bed.

When news comes of forthcoming concerts in England, she knows this is the chance she has been waiting for and the only chance to fulfil her dream.

Travelling down to London alone, she arrives early and sets about exploring the area where he will be performing. Having scoured the area, she hatches a plan. If she leaves the concert before the end, she can get to a place where his car will pass her, as he leaves the arena.

When the doors to the area open to admit the hundreds of girls, she manages to push her way through everyone until she is at the front. This turns out to be to her advantage as during his performance he flirts with her, constantly.

After leaving the area near the end of the concert, she makes her way to her planned position.

With a million butterflies dancing in her stomach, she sees the car approaching. Wondering if this has all been a waste of time, she realises the car is slowing down, finally stopping beside her. The door opens and he speaks to her. Climbing into the car, she looks into his eyes – he smiles.

The only thought in her head at that moment is, ‘I’ve done it.’

Ava Farrel is a sixty-eight-year-old mother of three girls and grandmother of seven grandchildren. She has written for most of her life, just for pleasure, never submitting anything for publication. She has had a varied work life including working as a waitress, nursery assistant, office clerk and cinema usherette. She lives in the North of England with her husband of thirty-eight years, their two dogs and three cats. Forever is her first full novel, and she is currently working on a sequel.
