Clare has the good fortune to live with a sweet-natured family of a husband and two daughters who has been happy to taste test her fusion kitchen experiments, created whenever money was tight. Multiculturalism and veganism are her twin passions; having held a variety of jobs, from teaching in a secondary school to working with refugees, she has been privileged to observe over the years how diverse people combine culinary creativity with a limited income.
