Fugly and Friends: Big Bugs Sets Sail!

Frederick Fugly said today we set sail to faraway places, far, far away. He told Bugs to sit by the rock near the pier, and they’ll wave from the boat as they get near. But after sitting at the rock and waiting all day and night, Bugs is fed up. Bursting with curiosity to find out what happened to her lift, she embarks on a journey to search for a boat. Along the way, she encounters various sea creatures who all want to sail away with her. But is her plan a wise one? After all, only Frederick Fugly and Harry Mouse can truly reveal what happened to the boat in this enchanting and extraordinary sailing adventure.

Deborah Valerie Jenkins was born in Swansea, South Wales. She embarked on a career in professional ballet at the London College of Dance and the London Studio Centre. She holds two master’s degrees and an undergraduate degree in psychology and has worked within many forensic fields. In her spare time, she writes children’s books. It was not until she placed her career as a psychologist on hold that she became seriously involved with writing and illustrating children’s books.
