Ganymede, the moon given over to those that refused to relinquish their faith in the one god, lived in harmony and peace. All the faiths that’d survived the wars coming together for the first time in mankind’s long illustrious history.

The government of man, the corporations and the spirit council sanctioned the moon heavily refusing most tech, weapons and travel from the moon, in the hope that those eking out a pre spacefaring existence would once again destroy themselves through holy warfare.

When those on the surface of the moon appeared for the most part to get along, Jack Satan was tasked by those in power to make this happen, much to the chagrin of Pierre Augustin, the officer that commanded the small fleet of warships stationed in the orbit of Ganymede, considered by most on the surface as its gaoler.
