With a background in science, Sandy worked for over 25 years in education, both locally and nationally.
As retirement approached, she set herself several goals, including writing some books for children.
Sandy’s interest in nature and the world around us formed the basis for Hunter’s Moon. She hopes the book will increase children’s curiosity, and she has also incorporated some aspirations for children to work towards during their lives.
In addition to writing, Sandy enjoys the theatre, art and wildlife photography. She treasures every moment spent with friends and her ever-growing family!

Fabulous book, very well written with beautiful illustrations, thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my grand daughter, who is also called Maya !!
Loved the mix of fact and fiction, and the overall feeling, do good, help others and you will be rewarded.
