When someone we love dies, it can be very hard to find the words to explain to others, and ourselves, how we feel. After all, feelings are feelings. They’re not words.

Robbie is a young person who is struggling to voice his feelings. His dad has died, leaving him, his mum and his little sister.

It takes a rainy day and some puddles to unlock the overwhelming emotions that Robbie is feeling.

Sarah lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and two grown up children.

She has had a varied career, including a short stint in the police force; a residential social worker, and for 18 years as a teaching assistant in a special needs school. Sarah also volunteered for her local hospice. She enjoys all things creative, and can often be found in her shed with various ideas buzzing around her head.
