Inside are seven very short adventure stories that are interesting, quick and easy to read.

The story locations are from Australia to Africa, and include fact and fiction.

The first one is about twelve-year-old twins, Peter and Joanna. They have an argument and it results in Peter angrily slamming the door and leaving the house. What follows is …

The second story takes place when fourteen-year-old Joanna and Peter go on their first school camp for ten days when they are in sixth grade. Some quite funny things happened that they were aware of, but there are other unexpected effects on their futures.

Henrietta Hyena is set in Africa and shows how our different views of able to be both loveable but despicable, depending on individual ideas and needs.

Murder, Blood and Guts is a story about unlikely heroes who hunt down goblins that fart black smoke.

Nullarbor Plains – Cocklebiddy Trip is a story incorporated with fantasy and adventures. It is set in some unheard-of Australian locations that are very real places but sound almost unbelievable.

Back of the Wardrobe tells about a family who discover a mystical little creature with big abilities.

L.E.N.D. reveals a story about a girl named Katie who goes from being so very ill to becoming well again, and the wonderful way of how that happened.

Born in Biloela, a town in Central Queensland, Australia, Elizabeth Murphy hopes readers of all ages, who have never completely read a story, get enjoyment when they finish one of these easy-to-finish short stories. Her diverse working life included being a registered nurse; a business proprietor; and an office worker. She’s a wife, mother and grandmother who loves living in the wonderful rural town of Toowoomba, Queensland. Her interests include reading, writing, and gardening. She spoils her dogs, a poodle, called Cindy, and a Fox terrier, named Scooter. Frequent in-house entertainment is provided by watching the antics of her two ragdoll cats, Candy and Bart.

Beth would appreciate if interested readers let her or the publisher know if her stories have been enjoyed. Or, if they have any sequel suggestions.

The stories have been specifically written to appeal to late primary students with language and topics to suit their age and interest. They use simple language that struggling readers can successfully decode, but are written in middle grade fiction style. Recommended for lower readers in late primary or early high school.
