Brendan struggled at school; his behaviour was often described as disruptive. He left school with very few qualifications. It was not until Brendan was in his late 20s when he was finally diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Through the careful support from his family and professionals, Brendan finally manages his own version of GAD. He is now highly academic and a qualified teacher working within a University. He wants to ensure that all children living with GAD realise that they are not alone and have at least some strategies that they can use to support them with their own GAD.
