Jessica is tired of her life. Tired of her family, tired of her job, and tired of her string of meaningless one-night stands. When her sister invites her to their grandmother’s birthday party, Jessica reluctantly agrees, hoping for a change of pace. At the party, she meets Alice, her friend’s illegitimate cousin, and is immediately smitten. Born in 1995 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Ela Mancillas graduated from the University of Visual Arts with a degree in language and audiovisual production. At the age of ten, she achieved the publication of a short story in a book called ‘Ellos también cuentan’. She also published a book in Spanish titled Una vida por otra’through the LACRE Publishing House.
