Minecraven is a secluded hamlet built originally to house workers employed by the Craven family, whose later members endowed the inhabitants generously. The last of the line died without issue. Consequently, due to changed circumstances, and with a little prompting, a new vibrancy is experienced in the community. At the same time, secrets unfold, and crimes are discovered. Throughout, the mysterious past of the four central characters provides an enticing narrative thread. Their credible motivations and dialogue ensure the reader is engaged right to the end.

V. R. Wilson was brought up in North Wales. She read History at Aberystwyth University and afterwards gained further qualifications through part time study.

Her working career was short but varied. On moving back to North Wales, a caring role followed – parents, then husband! Membership of various public bodies has ensured she has had little opportunity to be idle.
