Escape with My Chottle Book of Poems, an enchanting rhyming read for all the family, with cheerfully colourful illustrations by the author.

Meet the quirky characters, from Lord Hoppington to Scrumpleton Bumpleton, and have a little giggle along the way.

My Chottle Book of Poems is a children’s book that can be shared by everyone.

As a child at school, Carrie was always interested in creative writing. She has been writing short stories and poetry for her children for a number of years now. Prompted by her children, she decided to share her imagination with others.

She also enjoys drawing and creating the characters that go with her creative ideas. She always says that one of the best things in the world is when her children smile or laugh at her written words.

I brought this book for my 5-year-old daughter to read to her at bedtime. I had to read it several times to her when we first read it she couldn't decide. My daughter loves the poems and illustrations that the author has complimented her wonderful poems with my daughter loves Scrumpleton Bumpleton and I love Half-term blues just a example of a couple of the favourites we like.

I would definitely recommend this book to any parent or grandparents that are looking for something different to read with a child as its so creative fun and imaginative.

We hope to be able to have more books from this truly fantastic author who is going to definitely be a favourite hear on the book shelf and bed time reading.

No longer have children for this age group but found it a fascinating read with marvelous characters. I bought this for a friend's 4 yr old daughter as it’s a nice change to have more story than pictures. It’s was meant for her as a Christmas present but I’ve read it from cover to cover and thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to the next book.
