My Grandparents and the Aliens

One evening, many years ago when Grandpa and Grandma were much younger, Aliens crash-landed on their small farm in Somerset, changing their lives forever. This is a tale of adventure and humour, as Grandpa and Grandma attempt to help the Aliens return home, helped by Meg the Border Collie and their herd of cows.It involves the consumption of many plates of chocolate biscuits and cups of tea, a trip to the hardware store to buy materials, heavily disguised in coloured knitted hats and mittens, and an awful lot of cow poo…

Debbie grew up in Bristol and then spent five years training to be a veterinary surgeon at Glasgow University. After qualifying in 1985, Debbie settled in Coventry, West Midlands, where she worked full time as a vet, married and raised a family. Debbie worked as a veterinary surgeon for 35 years, retiring in 2021 and moving to Cornwall.

Debbie enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding and walking her dogs. This is Debbie’s first book.
