McCabe never really knew her ‘real Anna’, going in search of this when she decided to go on the journey enclosed within these covers. A tale so common, yet so unfortunately rarely shared, McCabe details her life to share with those who might walk in similar (or not) shoes to her. Although born in Scotland, Anna McCabe (until recently) spent most of her life in Wales and England. She returned home in 2017 and now lives in the village of Kincardine with her husband, Peter and their black labrador, Jessie.

A mother of four and Nana to three, Anna teaches English at a secondary school in Fife spending her ‘free’ time writing, walking, reading, or listening to music.
