Somewhere in a human’s intestine, in the middle of a busy city of bacteria, a mother is sending her daughter Myriam to her first day of school. Despite being quite hopeful about her first day, things don’t turn out as she expected. Myriam will learn how to make friends and deal with bullies, all while learning more about types of bacteria.

Vanessa, or “Dr V” as she is known, was born in New York and is of Greek-American descent. She has moved with her family since a young age all around the world including Greece, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, France, and Italy. Having a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in BioMedicine from the University of Geneva, she completed her Medical Degree in Pavia, Italy. During her last years in Medical School, she simultaneously studied and obtained a Master of Science in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the International University of Valencia. She now also has a master’s degree in business administration. As an embodied human with a mind in space, she has authored and co-authored several articles about the future of humanity in the field of Space Health. She is currently the Managing Partner of Space Exploration Strategies that deals with the new cutting-edge advancements in Space Health. One of her biggest passions is teaching smaller and bigger kids!
