Nina’s melodic voice fills the air when she sings, but her elderly neighbour Michael cherishes the quiet while reading his beloved books. Though Nina means no harm, her passionate performances disrupt Michael’s peace. Tension mounts as Michael struggles to focus over Nina’s escalating arias. When Michael finally snaps and silences her song, an uneasy quiet settles between them. Both realize how much they’ve grown to appreciate what the other brings - Nina her music, and Michael his silence. They must find a way to compromise before the discord between them crescendos.Through understanding and compassion, an unlikely friendship just might harmonize in the end.
